The 2017 BIKE & HIKE Challenge for ALS is looking to be the best year yet for fundraising!  Event Director, Tim Vahsholtz, says that the corporate monetary donations for this year will surpass last year, with $7500 pledged so far.  “It’s so exciting to not only see the embracing of this event by the participants, but also a commitment by these companies to help ALS patients living with the disease.”  This total doesn’t take into account the many individual contributions via the website, and the proceeds donated from the event by BIKE & HIKE, LLC.  The funds will be directed to the initiative, “Operation Speak Easier,” which provides devices and training to help ALS patients communicate.
